Colleen is an advanced certified yoga and meditation teacher and continuing education provider. She has a deep, embodied understanding of the benefits of yoga that comes along with a long term, dedicated self practice. Colleen's Hatha Yoga classes are intelligently sequenced to bring maximum healing and transformation to body, mind and spirit. She offers group and one on one sessions in yoga, meditation and breath work for total body wellness. Although she enjoys working with all ages and genders, Colleen specializes in helping women navigate the physical, emotional and spiritual changes that happen at midlife and beyond. In her own words -

I was a “casual” yogi for many years - practicing one or twice a week in a group setting. I knew from the start that there was something special about yoga, but as a busy mom, my focus was elsewhere. In 2010 a major life event turned my world upside down and left me wondering “who am I?” and “how will I survive?” That is when that little inkling of knowing from my casual practice, turned into a full on pursuit and I dove deep into my practice. As I discovered yoga, I discovered me! I can now, without any hesitation, say that what I thought might break me, was a gift. It woke me up. Yoga helped me to understand this deep truth. I am forever grateful to the yogis that have come before me and guided me to the understanding of the fullness and beauty of Life.

I specialize in helping women navigate life’s ups and down, but love working with anyone who is seeking personal growth.  Because of my unique skill set, I am able to help my clients address their challenges and meet their goals at every level – whether that’s physical, mental/emotional or spiritual.”

Colleen holds 200 and 500hr certifications in Yoga and has many more hours of training in Yoga, Ayurveda and Tantra. She is personally mentored by master teacher, Lauren Toolin, founder of the Yoga Vidya School.

She is a life long equestrian and horse lover and has been a Massachusetts certified riding instructor since 2001. She is an Equine Facilitated Learning Practitioner, certified through the HERD institute.
