Yoga and Mobility for Upper Back, Shoulders and Neck

Our lifestyle is such that we spend much of our time hunched forward over any number of things: phone, computer, desk, counter top, steering wheel etc. We simply don’t spend enough time in a healthy upright posture. This can lead to chronic imbalances in the upper back, shoulders, and neck.
This workshop will focus on the postures and movements that work towards relieving this kind of imbalance and the pain or discomfort it may be causing.
What you’ll learn:
•The context for upper back pain in us humans
•Exercises and poses/stretches used to help reduce discomfort
•Exercises and poses/stretches aimed at improving the strength of the upper back, shoulders, and neck
This workshop uses gentle to moderate movement so is appropriate for all levels of experience. It will conclude with a guided meditation for relaxation and the release of tension.
Tim has worked in the health and wellness space for over 12 years now as a yoga teacher and fitness coach. He is a registered, experienced yoga teacher, a certified health coach, and a certified personal trainer. He has also been managing his own back pain for 30 years now.

Tarot on the Farm with Mora from Tender Heart Tarot
Join us for a cozy afternoon on the farm to learn everything you need to establish your own card reading practice. We will cover the essentials of using cards to connect to your intuition, as well as deepen your understanding of how to interpret the symbolic language of any deck. Together, we’ll also explore incorporating cards into ritual to support your spiritual practice, such as using spreads, journaling prompts, meditations and more!

Winter Solstice - Slow Flow and Healing Sound
It’s common knowledge that the winter solstice marks the first day of the winter season. It is the day of the year with the least amount of sunlight. Each day after thereafter grows longer until sunlight peaks during the summer solstice the following June. The Winter Solstice is celebrated as sacred in many traditions. It is a day of hope and joy celebrating “the birth the sun” and it’s celestial promise for brighter days ahead.

In most yoga classes, the fiery, strong energy of Surya Namaskar (Sun Salute), is our practiced.
