Learn yoga life-skills and practices to strengthening and revitalizing body, mind and spirit.

This 4- week class series focuses on the unique needs of women from peri to post menopause.
We will explore -
Yoga asana and other forms of exercise to meet the unique needs of women’s bodies including practices for
core and pelvic floor health,
maintaining/increasing bone density and muscular strength
maintaining/increasing range of motion (flexibility)
increased overall vitality
decreasing severity of common menopausal symptoms
Pranayama (breath work) and meditation/mindfulness for
decreasing stress and anxiety
healthy sleep
stabilizing “scattered” thoughts
cognition
decreasing severity of common menopausal symptoms
Journaling/contemplation/discussion practices for
finding contentment and purpose through these transitional years
structuring a sustainable plan for your personal wellness now and for years to come
Daily Self Care Routines
Dietary considerations for our changing bodies
We will meet every Tuesday evening for lecture/discussion on relevant topics following by yoga practices specifically designed to meet the needs of midlife plus women. Expect these practices to be strength building, inspiring and compassionately challenging. Yoga practices will conclude with deep relaxation using various techniques.
