Yoga Nidra - Awakened Rest

The intention of this course is to help students develop a sustainable Yoga Nidra home practice. After our initial meeting, students will be encouraged to practice Yoga Nidra for 21 consecutive days (about 15 - 30min a day) We will do zoom Q & A once a week (Monday, 6 pm) and conclude with a second in-person session on Saturday, February 1, 11 am - noon.

Yoga Nidra is an ancient meditation technique that is having a resurgence in popularity. The practice done in a reclined position, making it accessible to all. True Yoga Nidra goes far beyond relaxation. With purposeful intention, the practitioner is able to use this invaluable “tool” for personal transformation. With consistent practice, Yoga Nidra has been shown to -

  • reduce stress and anxiety

  • speed physical healing and recovery

  • increase cognitive function and mental clarity
