Learn how to cultivate, direct and move your innate life force energy (Chi/Qi).
Through Gentle movement, breath work, mind focus and visualization, this practice will help to unblock, strengthen, revitalize and heal body, mind and spirit.
This 5 week series is based on the foundational principles of 5 elements as taught in Traditional Chinese Medicine. We will also look at how yoga asana (postures) and pranayama (breath work) can support the practice of Qigong and Taoist Yoga (Tao Yin Yoga).
This is an introductory exploration and appropriate for all levels of students.
Lead teacher Paul David Shea has over 30 years of experience in qigong, tai chi, Taoist Yoga and shiatsu. He is supported and assisted by Breathing Lotus lead yoga teacher, Colleen Duggan-Cuomo.
