The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali is one of the most widely referenced texts on the subject of Yoga. It can be seen as a practice guidebook for life. Written over 2000 years ago, it’s wisdom still holds the key to living life with purpose.

Through lecture, discussion and journaling prompts we’ll get an overview of the structure of the sutras and major themes presented, including an overview of “Ashtanga Yoga” - the eight limbs that together comprise the practice of yoga.

This workshop is as a brief overview, intended to peak curiosity and inquiry about the roots of yoga
