Yoga’s Ethical Guide to Living – the Yamas and Niyamas
For anyone who want to learn more about yoga on and off the mat.
Yoga Teachers recieve 3.5 credit hours from the Yoga Alliance.
According to the Yoga Sutras of Patañjali, there are 10 tenets that we humans should aspire to in order to lead our most fulfilled lives. The Yamas and the Niyamas are the first and second “limbs” of the Yoga Sutras eightfold path and, according to Patanjali, should be studied as a practice of yoga.
In this workshop we’ll take a closer look at the Yamas and Niyamas from a historical view as well as through the lens of a modern-day yoga practitioner. Learn to weave these ancient practices into your yoga practice and your life.
