But did you know that asana, in combination with pranayama (breath techniques) also has a profound effect on our energy system and emotional well being? When we understand this, we can craft our yoga practice to derive a desired outcome. We can choose to uplift, calm, balance, create mental clarity, assimilate, inspire or tap into intuition and more. We can take this skill from the mat and into our life...THAT'S YOGA!
